It sits inside the exhaust filter housing of your Busch R5 pump. As air passes through, the special filter material acts like a net. It captures oil mist and other fine particles.
This is important for a few reasons. First, it keeps your work area cleaner. It prevents an oily film from settling on nearby equipment. Second, it helps meet environmental and safety standards by reducing emissions.
Just like the oil inside, this filter pad needs regular replacement. Over time, it becomes saturated and clogged. A dirty pad restricts airflow, making your pump work harder.
Replacing it is simple. You just remove the old pad and insert this new one. It’s pre-cut to the standard 12-inch by 12-inch size for a perfect fit.
