Description

This lock plate is a Kinney replacement part designed for KMBD Booster pumps. It is used to secure critical fasteners, preventing them from loosening due to vibration during pump operation. It fits models KMBD1600 and KMBD850. Part number 5879A ensures a perfect fit during pump assembly or rebuild.  When you install a new lock plate, make sure the fastener is torqued to the proper specification first. Then bend the tabs into place against the nut or bolt head. Once bent, the lock plate should not be reused. Always install a fresh one during a rebuild.
