Description

The Lock Plate, Part #55025, is a simple but clever part designed to fight that vibration and keep critical fasteners right where they belong on your pump. A lock plate is a thin metal plate, often with tabs or bent sections. It’s used under or over a fastener like a nut or bolt head. After the fastener is tightened to the correct torque, the tabs on the lock plate are bent up against the flat sides of the nut, or into slots in the bolt. This physically prevents the fastener from rotating and coming loose.
