This O-ring is made from Viton. Viton is a special rubber that handles heat very well. It also resists oils and chemicals much better than standard rubber. Viton also has very low gas permeability, which makes it perfect for vacuum applications .
This particular O-ring fits several popular Pfeiffer pump models. It works with the DUO 125, DUO 250A, DUO 255M (Index C), and UNO 250A pumps . It is also used in smaller models like the DUO 6 and DUO 6M .
