Description
This O-ring is made from real Viton rubber. Viton handles heat, oil and chemicals much better than normal rubber.
The size is simple: 38 mm across the inside and 2 mm thick. It matches the original Leybold part number 23970163 perfectly.
You will find this O-ring in Leybold Trivac vacuum pumps — especially the D4B, D8B and S8B models. Some repair kits also use it for the 100B and 100P pumps.
It’s easy to fit. Just clean the groove, drop it in, and you’re done. Many technicians keep a few extra on the shelf because they’re cheap insurance for the pump.
