Description
This gasket is a thin, shaped seal. It fits between the float valve cover and the pump body. When you tighten the cover, the gasket compresses. It fills every tiny gap to create a perfect, oil-tight seal. Without a good seal, oil can seep out. Even a small leak makes a mess on your pump and floor. More importantly, it can let air in. This ruins the vacuum your pump is trying to create. A leaking gasket means your pump has to work harder and won’t perform as well
