Description
The small glass window, or sight glass, lets you do that. This flat gasket is what seals that window to the pump body.
It has a simple but important job. It squeezes between the sight glass and the pump casing. This creates a tight seal that keeps the oil inside the pump.
If this gasket gets old and fails, oil can slowly seep out. This makes a mess and can lead to low oil levels. Low oil can damage your pump. A fresh gasket ensures a clean, clear view of your oil and prevents leaks.
This is the official Leybold replacement part. It fits a wide range of Trivac models from the smaller S4A to the larger D90AC. Replacing it during an oil change is smart, simple maintenance.
