Description
Rietschle VC500 and VC700 are powerful rotary vane pumps used in factories and big workshops. They handle tough jobs and run for long hours. To keep them sealed tight, they need good gaskets in different spots. This rectangular gasket, part number 512807, is one of the larger flat ones that goes in key areas like housing sections or covers.
It is made from C4324 – a strong compressed material that stands up to oil and heat without falling apart. The size is about 17.5 inches long by 12 inches wide by 0.04 inches thick. When you put it in place and tighten the bolts, it compresses to fill any small gaps and blocks oil from leaking or air from getting in where it shouldn’t.
This gasket fits the VC500 and VC700 models in the V-VC family. These are oil-lubricated pumps that pull strong vacuum for industrial use. In most rebuilds or major services, you use two of these gaskets.
