Description
This external retaining ring is the small steel clip that makes sure of it. It fits into a groove on the outside of a shaft and holds bearings or other round parts tight so nothing slips during all that fast spinning.
It’s made from strong spring steel, with an inside diameter of 27.9 mm and 1.50 mm thickness. Thin and light, but it grips hard and doesn’t let go even after years of heat and vibration.
You’ll find it in the bigger VC200 and VC300 rotary vane pumps. These are the heavy-duty oil-lubricated models used in printing plants, packaging lines, factories, and bigger workshops.
