Description

This ring gasket is a flat, round ring. It is also called a flat gasket. It looks simple, but it does a very important job. It sits between two metal parts of your vacuum pump. When you bolt the parts together, the gasket gets squeezed. This squeeze fills any tiny gaps between the metal surfaces. The result is a tight seal that air and oil cannot pass through. This ring gasket is used inside your Rietschle vacuum pump. It is a common part found in many places on the V-VC series pumps.
