Description

This ring gasket is a flat, circular seal made from Viton rubber. It sits between two metal parts inside your Rietschle VC400 pump. When you tighten the bolts, the gasket gets squeezed. This compression fills any tiny gaps or scratches on the metal surfaces. The result is a tight, reliable seal that stops air and oil from leaking out. It also keeps dirt and dust from getting into the pump. This gasket is not made from ordinary rubber. It is made from Viton, a high-performance material also known as FKM . Viton is much tougher and more durable than standard rubber.
