Description
This gasket is made from copper. Copper is a soft metal that makes an excellent seal. When you tighten the parts of your pump together, this copper gasket gets slightly squashed. It molds itself to fit perfectly between the metal surfaces. This creates a very tight barrier that stops air from leaking. Gaskets are wear items.
