Description
In your Leybold Trivac pump, the shaft seal has one of the most important jobs. It sits where the motor’s spinning shaft enters the oil-filled pump chamber.
This seal has two big responsibilities. First, it keeps the pump’s lubricating oil safely inside. Second, it stops outside air, dust, and moisture from getting in.
Oil can leak out, damaging the motor or making a mess. Air can leak in, making the pump weak and inefficient. Replacing this seal is key to preventing these problems.
