Description

Rietschle VC400, VC500, and VC700 pumps are big rotary vane machines that pull heavy vacuum in factories and workshops. The shaft spins fast, and oil keeps things smooth inside. This shaft seal, part number 604508, fits right on the shaft to stop oil from leaking out and keep dust from getting in.

It is made from Viton – a strong black fluoroelastomer rubber that handles high heat and oil without cracking or swelling like cheaper materials might. The size is 40 mm inside (for the shaft), 55 mm outside (for the housing), and 7 mm thick. It has a lip that presses tight against the shaft for a good seal
