This gasket is a Kinney part made for KTC55 and KTC60 models. It fits between the top plate and the pump housing. When installed correctly, it creates a tight seal that prevents leaks and helps your pump hold strong vacuum. Using the correct gasket is essential. It must be the right thickness and material to withstand the heat and pressure inside the pump. This Kinney gasket is made to those exact specifications.
