This vane goes inside the rotor of your Leybold Trivac D5E pump.

It is the first-stage vane – the one that pulls in the air and starts building the vacuum.

It is made from GX material, a strong fiberglass composite. This stuff stands up to heat and wear much better than normal vanes.

Putting in a fresh vane fixes it quickly. Most people replace them during a full service.

The D5E needs two of these in the first stage (and two of the second-stage vane, part 230050G).

If you work on Leybold Trivac pumps, keep a couple on hand. They are easy to install and give the pump many more years of good service.
