Description
An air vent valve is a small but vital part of your vacuum pump. Think of it like a safety door for air.
When you turn off a powerful vacuum pump, a strong vacuum can be trapped inside. This isn’t good for the pump. It can make restarting difficult and put stress on components.
This valve’s job is to open when the pump stops. It lets a controlled amount of air flow back into the pump chamber.
This process, called “venting,” protects your pump. It makes the next startup smooth and prevents oil from being pulled into the wrong places. In short, it helps your pump last longer.
