Description

This gasket sits between the float valve cover and the pump body. When you tighten the cover bolts, the gasket squishes slightly. It fills all the microscopic gaps between the metal surfaces. This creates an airtight and oil-tight seal. A worn-out gasket can’t seal properly. Oil can slowly seep out, making a mess. Even worse, outside air and dust can get in. This contamination can affect the oil and the pump’s ability to create a strong vacuum. A simple gasket replacement prevents these problems.
