Rietschle vacuum pumps have a motor that spins the inside parts at high speed. This small Buna coupling, part number 520913, sits right between the motor shaft and the pump.
It is made from tough black nitrile rubber – the kind that handles oil and heat without cracking. The coupling flexes a little to keep everything running smooth and quiet.
Without a good coupling, you get extra noise, vibration, or even wear on the bearings. This one is the exact same as the factory part.
