Description
This small black piece is the heart of the connection between your motor and the pump.
It sits in the coupling housing. The motor drives one side, and this element drives the pump shaft on the other side.
Because it is flexible, it takes care of tiny misalignments. That means less vibration and less noise.
Over time it can wear out, especially if the pump runs for many years. When that happens you might hear clicking or feel extra shaking.
