Description
This small flexible piece sits right between the motor and the pump.
It takes the power from the motor and passes it to the pump shaft.
Because it bends a little, it handles small misalignments and cuts down on shaking and noise.
After many years of running, this coupling can wear out. You might notice a clicking sound or extra vibration when that happens.
Most technicians replace it during a full service or when they install a major repair kit. You only need one per pump.
