Description

This small thin plate is an important part of the exhaust valve in your pump.

When the pump runs, it pushes air and oil mist out through the exhaust. This valve plate opens to let everything escape and then snaps shut to stop anything from coming back in. That keeps the vacuum working well and prevents oil from leaking back into the system.

This is the exact replacement part#40175014, also called 40175014. 

Replacing it is part of a normal major service. You open the exhaust side, swap the old plate, and you’re done.
