Edwards E1 or E2M vacuum pump, this small felt pad plays a big role in keeping your workspace clean and your pump healthy. It is often called the exhaust filter or oil mist filter.
This felt pad catches that oil mist. The oil droplets cling to the felt fibers, join together, and then drip back down into the pump’s oil system. At the same time, the pad also traps tiny dust particles and wear debris. So, the air that leaves your pump is much cleaner.
Over time, the felt pad gets clogged with oil and dirt.
