Rietschle VC500 and VC700 are heavy-duty rotary vane pumps used in factories and big workshops. They pull in a lot of air through the inlet filter to create strong vacuum. The inlet filter cover sits on top of that filter area, and this gasket, part number 519670, goes right under the cover to make a good seal.
It stops oil from seeping out around the edges and keeps unfiltered air or dirt from sneaking past the filter. Without a solid gasket here, you might get small leaks, weaker suction, or even dirt inside the pump that causes faster wear. This one is built tough to handle the oil and heat these pumps create.
