Description
The demister filter is a felt pad that sits near the exhaust. It catches those droplets, lets them stick together, and drip back into the oil reservoir instead of blowing out.
This simple part does a big job: it stops oil loss, keeps the exhaust air much cleaner, and prevents oily mist from covering your floor or equipment.
When the filter gets old, dirty, or clogged, you’ll start seeing more oil mist at the exhaust and the pump may use oil faster.
This filter matches the original Leybold part 39026014 exactly. You’ll find one in almost every major repair kit for these pumps. Replacing it is easy during a full service – just remove the old felt element, drop the new one in place, and put everything back together.
