This filter is a real workhorse for your Leybold Trivac pump. It slides right into the CFS chemical filter setup on models like the D40BCS and D65BCS.
The CFS is basically the pump’s oil cleaner. It grabs all the dust, chemicals, and bits that get into the oil during normal use. Without a good filter, that stuff wears out the pump fast.
This one is made from solid aluminum. It holds 1.3 liters and stands up to heat and tough conditions. It keeps the oil fresh longer, so the pump runs quieter and pulls better vacuum.
Swapping it is straightforward. The CFS has a safety valve, so you can change the filter even while the pump is running. No downtime. Just a few minutes and you’re back to work.
