Description
Leybold Trivac D40B and D40BCS are two-stage pumps. The first stage does most of the hard work – it pulls in air when the chamber pressure is still high.
This rotor spins inside the first-stage housing. It has slots where the vanes slide in and out. That sliding action is what moves the air and creates vacuum.
Replacing the rotor is a big job. Most technicians do it during a full rebuild because the pump has to come apart completely. You need the right tools and a clean workspace.
But once the new rotor is in place, the pump runs like new again. It reaches the same speed and vacuum level it had when it left the factory.
This part is made to the same high standards as the original Leybold rotor. It fits perfectly and is built to last.
If your D40B or D40BCS has been running for a long time and is starting to struggle, this rotor is often the part that brings it back to life.
