Description
This is a flat, thin gasket made of Mylar material.
It goes between the two main sections (or “modules”) of your Leybold Trivac pump – the bigger ones like D40B, D65B, S40B, S65B, D40BCS, and D65BCS.
These pumps have two stages for better vacuum. This gasket seals the joint where the stages meet. It stops oil or air from sneaking through when the pump is under pressure or running.
Without a good seal here, you might get leaks, lose vacuum power, or see oil where it shouldn’t be. Over time the old gasket can harden or crack from heat and age.
