Description
This O-ring is made from Viton. Viton is a special, high-quality rubber. It is much better than ordinary rubber for vacuum pumps. Because it doesn’t mind oil, heat, or chemicals.
Inside your running pump, it’s warm and oily. A regular rubber seal might swell, crack, or break down quickly. Viton stays strong and flexible. This means your seal lasts longer and works better.
This includes during oil changes, filter replacements, or any repair work. Old O-rings can become flat, hard, or nicked. They won’t seal properly anymore.
If you see oil seeping from a joint on your pump, a worn O-ring could be the cause. Replacing it is a quick and affordable fix that protects your pump.
