Description
Rietschle vacuum pumps have many places where parts meet and need to stay sealed. This O-ring, part number 320229, is one of those small but important pieces that makes sure oil stays where it should and air does not sneak in.
It is made from strong Buna rubber – the same black nitrile material that handles oil and heat really well. The size is 29.87 mm across the inside and 1.5 mm thick. When it goes into its groove and everything gets tightened, it presses just right to create a perfect seal.
It comes in the gasket kits and the full rebuild kits for these pumps. Most people replace it every time they service the pump.
