Description
A small O-ring like this one does a very important job. It sits in a groove and stops oil, air, or vapour from leaking where two parts of the pump join together.
If the old ring gets hard, cracked, or squashed flat, you will notice weaker vacuum, oil leaks, or the pump running louder than normal.
This one is made from Viton (FKM). That material handles hot oil, chemicals, and vacuum conditions much better than ordinary rubber. It lasts a long time and keeps your pump working the way it should.
Replacing it is easy. Just clean the groove, put the new ring in place, and reassemble. One small part, but it can fix a lot of problems and bring your pump back to full strength.
