This is the FKM O-Ring, part number 486557816. It is a replacement seal. It is made from a tough material called FKM. You may also hear it called Viton®. This material is much stronger than ordinary rubber. This O-ring is a direct replacement for the Busch COBRA NC 0400 B dry screw vacuum pump. It is a key part of the official maintenance kits for this pump. You will find it in both the Minor Kit and the Overhaul Kit for the NC 0400 B model.
