Rietschle vacuum pumps are built to last, but they count on good seals to do their job. This rectangular gasket, part number 512895, is one of those important pieces that keeps everything working right.
It is a flat gasket made from tough C-4401 material. This stuff is great with oil and heat, and it compresses just enough to create a solid seal between parts inside the pump. No air leaks. No oil sneaking out.
The gasket is made for the VCA25 and VCE25 models. These are the handy smaller pumps you see in shops, labs, and light production work. If your pump is losing a bit of vacuum or showing a small oil drip, this could be the fix.
You will find it in the gasket kits and the big rebuild kits for these pumps. Most folks replace it whenever they have the pump open for service.
