Description

This shaft seal, part number 604725, sits right on the shaft to keep the oil from leaking out and dirt from getting in.

It is made from Viton – a strong black rubber that handles heat and oil way better than regular rubber. It does not crack or swell up even after long runs. The size is 30 mm inside diameter, 42 mm outside diameter, and 7 mm thick. It fits snug on the shaft and presses tight against the housing for a good seal.

• VC150

You will find it in the major rebuild kits and service kits for these pumps. Technicians always replace it during a full overhaul because a worn seal can cause oil leaks or weak vacuum.
