It’s a small aluminum body with a clear glass lens. You just look at it and know if you need to add oil or not. No guessing. No taking the whole pump apart.
It fits the popular Rietschle models – VC100, VC150, VC200, VC300, VC400, VC500, VC700 and the VCA and VCE pumps like VCA40, VCA60, VCE40, VCE60 and more. These are the tough rotary vane pumps you see in workshops, labs, hospitals and factories.
After a few years the glass can get cloudy or the seals wear out. When that happens, you can’t read the level anymore. This replacement fixes it in minutes.
