Description
This spider coupling is a critical component. If it fails, your pump stops working. But it is designed to be the “weak link” on purpose. If something goes wrong, the spider coupling will wear out first. This protects the more expensive parts like the motor and the pump rotor. It is much cheaper to replace this coupling than to repair a broken pump.
