Description
It’s the exact replacement part, fits perfectly, Most people replace it every time they open the pump head.
It sits right under the valve plate inside the exhaust valve of your Leybold Trivac pump – the D2A, D4A, D2AC, and D4AC models.
When the pump runs, gas pushes the plate up and the spring compresses. The second the pump stops, the spring pushes the plate straight back down. That quick, firm seal stops air from coming back in and keeps oil from going the wrong way.
If the spring gets weak or broken, you lose vacuum fast, the pump gets noisy, and performance drops.
You only need one per pump. It shows up in every major repair kit .
