This is the filter cover gasket for Becker U Series vacuum pumps. Part number 300026400 goes between the filter cover and the filter housing. It creates a tight seal so air does not leak past the filter. If your pump is not pulling full vacuum, a bad filter cover gasket could be the reason. It fits U4.165, U4.190, U4.250 models and many of their variations.
The Filter Cover Gasket (Part #300026400) is a flat gasket made of special material. It sits between the filter cover and the filter housing. When you tighten the cover bolts, the gasket squishes down. It fills every tiny gap in the metal surfaces.
