This small Buna ring gasket, part number 704043, does that important job quietly and reliably.
It is made from tough Buna rubber – the same black nitrile material used in many oil-resistant seals. When you tighten the pump together, this ring compresses just right to stop leaks.
The gasket fits the VCA25 and VCE25 models. These are the smaller rotary vane pumps you see in workshops, labs, and small production lines. If your pump is dripping oil or the vacuum is dropping, this little ring is often the culprit.
You will find it in the standard gasket kits and the big rebuild kits for these pumps.
