This Cork Case Gasket (Part #300206) is made specifically for the Pfeiffer DUO 120A vacuum pump. It goes between the two main halves of the pump body. Its job is to create a tight, reliable seal. This stops oil from leaking out. It also stops air from leaking in. A good seal means your pump holds strong vacuum pressure. If you are opening the pump for maintenance or a major overhaul, you must replace this gasket. It is a one-time-use part
