This is the shaft seal head assembly for Kinney rotary piston vacuum pumps. It carries part number 065214. This seal is a 2 1/8 inch mechanical seal that stops oil from leaking out where the shaft comes out of the pump . Made for the Kinney KT500D model, this piece replaces the old or worn seal in your pump. If you see oil dripping from the front of your pump near the shaft, a worn seal is likely the problem .
