This is a copper washer made for Leybold Sogevac vacuum pumps . Copper washers are different from regular steel washers. They are soft and bendable. When you tighten them, they squash down and create a very tight seal. This stops leaks. It works especially well in hot places or where there is high pressure . This washer fits pump models SV500, SV630, SV630F, and SV750 .
