Preventive Maintenance Kit, Kinney KT 300 C (60 Hz.)

This kit has everything you need for a complete preventive maintenance service. Here is what you get :

Valves:

• 7 complete Discharge Valve Assemblies (066161)

The discharge valves are very important. They let gas leave the pump cylinder and stop it from flowing back in. Under normal use, the factory says you should replace these valves every year. When your pump is running properly, you should hear a sharp clicking sound. That clicking means the valves are working. No click? Time to check the valves.

Also, note that discharge valves are only sold as complete assemblies. You cannot buy just the spring or just the disc.

Seals and O-rings:

• 2 Buna O-rings, 110.72 x 3.53 mm (050245)

• 1 Buna O-ring, 53.57 x 3.53 mm (050227)

• 1 Backup Ring for Shaft Seal – Kinney (803423) 

• 1 Backup Ring for Shaft Seal – Leybold Trivac (803422)

Buna-N rubber is the right material for vacuum pumps. It resists oil and handles heat well. The backup rings support the seals and stop them from moving under pressure.

Bearings and Related Parts:

• 1 Ball Bearing – 45 mm (054115) 

• 2 Sleeve Bearings – 1 7/8 (054110)

• 1 Bearing Locknut – N-09 (054098) 

• 1 External Retaining Ring (064032)

These are the parts that let the shafts move smoothly. Worn bearings cause noise, vibration, and heat. The locknut and retaining ring keep everything securely in place.

Gaskets:

• 1 Cylinder/Separator Gasket (807392) 

• 1 Valve Deck Cover Gasket (808475)

• 1 Separator Cover Gasket (807636)

• 1 Sight Glass Gasket (804193)

These gaskets seal the main parts of your pump. Without good gaskets, you get leaks. Leaks mean loss of vacuum.

The V-belt drives the pump. The sight glass lets you check the oil level. The screws and pins are the exact hardware you need. No running to the hardware store.
