This is a flat gasket made from cork. Its part number is 192124. You place it between the oil box (also called the oil casing) and the main body of the pump . Think of it like a soft cushion that fills the tiny gap between two metal surfaces. When you tighten the bolts, the cork squishes down and creates a tight, leak-proof seal.
