This is the oil float valve assembly for your Rietschle VC202 or VC303 vacuum pump (Part# 1093437OEM). It sits inside the pump and helps control the oil level properly. When the oil level drops or rises, this float valve responds to keep things balanced. If this part fails, your pump could run too low on oil or flood with too much. Both are bad for the pump.
