This filter sits on the air intake of your pump. As the pump pulls air in, the filter catches dust, dirt, and other particles. Only clean air reaches the inside of the pump.

For dry-running pumps like the VTA series, this is very important. Carbon vanes slide against the cylinder wall. If dust gets in, it acts like sandpaper. It wears down both the vanes and the cylinder quickly .

This filter cartridge has specific dimensions for a proper fit :

• 70 mm outside diameter

• 32 mm inner diameter

• 80 mm height

It is a paper filter element designed for high-efficiency air filtration.

This filter is used on many Rietschle dry-running pumps. It fits these models :

• VTA 60, VTA 80, VTA 100, VTA 140

• DTA 60, DTA 80, DTA 100, DTA 140

• KTA 60, KTA 80, KTA 100, KTA 140

  Some pumps use one filter. Larger pumps use two or even four filters :

  • For VTA / DTA 60 – you need 1 filter

  • For VTA / DTA 80 and 100 – you need 2 filters

  • For VTA / DTA 140 – you need 2 filters

  • For KTA 100 / 140 – you need 4 filters
