This is a small metal ring.
But it does an important job.
It holds bearings and other parts firmly in place inside your Leybold Trivac vacuum pump.
When you take the pump apart for a full service, you normally replace three of these rings.
Without them, things can move around and the pump won’t run right.

Leybold Trivac D16BCS chemical series two-stage rotary vane pump running smoothly with this Gasket & Seal Kit. This light maintenance kit includes a coupling insert, demister filter, non-return valve, pressure relief valve, shaft seals, gaskets, O-rings, and other essential components for routine service .
The D16BCS is the chemical version of the D16B pump, featuring more resistant seals and machined parts for pumping corrosive or aggressive media . With a pumping speed of 19.8 m³/h at 60 Hz and an ultimate pressure below 1 × 10⁻⁴ mbar partial pressure, this pump is a workhorse for demanding applications .
