Major Repair Kit – Kinney KMBD 1600 – Mechanical Version

This is a complete major repair kit. It has everything you need for a full overhaul. Here is what is included :

Bearings:

• 2 roller bearings (Part# 30410)

• 1 single row ball bearing (Part# 21964)

• 2 double row ball bearings (Part# 10999)

These are the parts that let the rotors spin smoothly. Worn bearings cause noise and vibration.

Seals:

• 5 mechanical seals (Part# 11449)

• 4 Teflon seals (Part# 310140)

The mechanical seals are the most important parts in this version. They prevent oil from leaking out of the booster along the rotor shafts. The Teflon seals are also critical. Teflon is a special material that handles high heat and resists chemicals .

O-rings (Viton material):

• 1 O-ring, 39.34 x 2.6 mm (Part# 29361129)

• 1 O-ring, 78.74 x 5.33 mm (Part# 29361338)

• 1 O-ring, 34.6 x 1.78 mm (Part# 29361028)

• 1 O-ring, 63.2 x 1.78 mm (Part# 29361037)

Viton is a special rubber. It handles high heat and resists chemicals better than regular rubber.

Timing Gear Components:

• Timing gear shims (many different thicknesses: 0.002″, 0.003″, 0.004″, 0.005″, 0.006″, 0.008″, 0.010″)

• 2 timing gear keys (Part# 11200)

These parts are critical for keeping the two rotors in sync. Proper timing is everything in a booster.

Hardware:

• Lock plates (standard, large, small)

• Lock washers

• Screws and flat head screws

• Round plate (Part# 370044)
