Think of it like a piston in an engine, but instead of moving up and down, it slides in and out. As the rotor spins, the vane is pushed outward by springs and centrifugal force. It glides along the inside of the pump’s cylinder, trapping gas and pushing it out of the pump.The DUO35 and DUO35M are two-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane pumps from Pfeiffer . The UNO35 is the single-stage version. The “M” designation indicates a magnetic coupling . Unlike standard pumps that use a shaft seal, these M-series models use a non-contact magnetic coupling. This eliminates oil leaks at the shaft feedthrough and reduces maintenance needs .
