This Cork Case Gasket (Part #194081) is made specifically for the Pfeiffer DUO 2.5 vacuum pump. It goes between the two main halves of the pump body. Its job is to create a tight, reliable seal. This stops oil from leaking out. It also stops air from leaking in. A good seal means your pump holds strong vacuum pressure. If you are opening the pump for maintenance or a minor repair, you must replace this gasket. It is a one-time-use part .
